Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Stuff Finder, operated by Balor Jobs, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Service.

Last updatedSeptember 8, 2026

1. Location Privacy by Design

Easy Stuff Finder is designed to help you remember where your belongings are without requiring us to know the real-world physical address where those belongings are located. The Service does not require a street address for a Place and does not provide a dedicated street-address, GPS-coordinate, latitude, or longitude field for identifying where inventoried belongings are physically located.

In Easy Stuff Finder, “Location” is an organizational level inside a Place, not your geographic, GPS, street, or device location. A Location can be a room or area such as Bedroom, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Garage, Office, Basement, Attic, or any other label you choose.

You create your own names or labels for Places and organizational levels. Easy Stuff Finder may know that an item is organized as Place → Location → Storage Area → Section / Position → Container → Item without needing to know the real-world address corresponding to that Place. The relationship between a user-defined Place name and its actual physical location can remain known only to you.

If you voluntarily enter an address or other location-identifying information into a name, notes field, or other free-text field, that information becomes user-provided content. Technical information such as an IP address is separate from the physical location of your inventory and is not used by Easy Stuff Finder to identify where your belongings are stored.

2. Information You Provide

Depending on the features you use, you may provide account and profile information, inventory and organizational information, photos, pet information, preparation information, shopping information, sharing permissions, preferences, reminders, feedback, support requests, and other content you choose to provide.

  • Account: email, display name, optional telephone number, and profile photo.
  • Inventory: item names, quantities, categories, user-defined Place names, organizational Locations such as rooms or areas, Storage Areas, Sections / Positions, Containers, expiration and warranty information, values, insurance-related information, notes, and photographs.
  • Pets: name, species, breed, sex, age or birth date, identifying information, microchip and collar details, veterinarian and emergency contacts, medical notes, medication schedules, and photographs.
  • Preparations and Shopping: titles, dates, selected items, return status, notes, user-defined stores, prices, budgets, purchase information, and related history.
  • Sharing: invitations, relationships, and permissions between registered users.

3. Photos, Device Permissions, and User Content

Supported features may request access to your camera, photo library or files, and notifications. Permissions are used for the action you select and can also be controlled through your browser or device settings. Certain categories, including Important Documents, may intentionally restrict photographs for privacy or confidentiality.

You control what you add and must have the right to store or share it. Do not enter passwords, complete payment-card numbers, authentication credentials, or other secrets that are unnecessary for using the Service.

4. Payment and Billing Information

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment-card details, billing address, and other information needed to process transactions, prevent fraud, calculate applicable taxes, or satisfy legal and regulatory requirements.

Easy Stuff Finder does not store complete payment-card numbers or the billing address supplied to Stripe in its application database. We maintain limited billing references and subscription information needed to operate your account. Stripe may retain payment or transaction information under its own legal and privacy obligations. A billing address is not used by Easy Stuff Finder to identify where your inventory is physically located.

5. Information Collected Automatically

We and our infrastructure providers may process limited technical information necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Service.

  • IP address and related network information.
  • Browser, device, and user-agent information.
  • Authentication and session information.
  • Application requests, timestamps, technical logs, errors, and security information.
  • Push-notification endpoints and technical subscription keys when notifications are enabled.

6. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure Easy Stuff Finder, authenticate accounts, organize and search inventory, operate Shopping, Preparations, Pets, reminders and reports, provide permission-based sharing, deliver enabled notifications, manage subscriptions, provide support, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse or fraud, diagnose problems, comply with applicable law, and improve Service reliability and functionality.

7. Inventory Sharing

Inventory Sharing allows separate registered users to access information according to permissions selected by the inventory owner. Supported access may include viewing, editing, or deleting items. Sharing does not merge accounts or require password sharing. Grant access only to people you trust.

8. Service Providers and Disclosures

Core providers include Supabase for database, authentication and file-storage infrastructure; Vercel for application hosting and delivery; and Stripe for payment and subscription processing. Providers process information as necessary to perform their respective services and under their own contractual, security, legal, and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or protect rights, safety, property, and security.

9. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Easy Stuff Finder and Balor Jobs do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your private inventory data, photographs, user-defined Places, organizational information, pet information, or private Preparations to data brokers or advertisers.

10. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control, including authentication, access controls, private storage, database security policies, row-level security, account-specific data separation, and permission-based sharing. No Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Data Retention

We generally retain account information and user content while your account remains active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. Deleted information may temporarily remain in backups, disaster-recovery systems, logs, or residual systems until those copies are overwritten or expire through normal operational cycles.

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory obligations.

12. Deleting Your Account

Easy Stuff Finder provides a permanent account-deletion process in Settings. When completed, Easy Stuff Finder deletes or initiates deletion of account information and user content under our control, including applicable inventory records, organizational structures, photographs, pet information, Preparation and Shopping data, reminders, sharing relationships, push subscriptions, and other account-associated application data.

For paid accounts, the Service also takes steps to end the active Easy Stuff Finder billing relationship. Stripe or other payment providers may retain transaction or payment records when required or permitted for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, regulatory, or security purposes.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information, and other rights provided by law. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

You can modify many records directly in the Service, use the account-deletion control in Settings, or send a privacy request to privacy@easystufffinder.com. We may verify your identity before processing a request. Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction.

14. Newsletter and Marketing

You may voluntarily subscribe to Easy Stuff Finder marketing or newsletter communications. If subscribed, we may send product news, organization tips, feature announcements, promotions, and related communications. You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails. Essential transactional, security, billing, or account communications may still be sent when necessary.

15. Children and International Users

Easy Stuff Finder is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 18.

Easy Stuff Finder is operated from the United States and may be accessible from other countries. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable law.
