Understand quantities and availability

Know the difference between Total, Reserved, Available and Out of Stock.

Every Item has a Total quantity. Units assigned to an active preparation or shared activity are Reserved. Available equals Total minus Reserved.

Read an Item’s availability

  1. Open the Item detail.
  2. Check Total for the number you own.
  3. Check In Preparations for the number currently reserved.
  4. Check Available for the number you can use now.
  5. Edit quantity only when the Item is not protected by an active process.
